TOPIC: Manifest Destiny (noun): the belief or doctrine, held chiefly in the middle and latter part of the 19th century, that it was the destiny of the U.S. to expand its territory over the whole of North America and to extend and enhance its political, social, and economic influences.

American Democracy has proven to work. It is now the societal practice of most nations on Earth. Communism, Royalty, Facism, dictatorships are perishing. Some argue that many wars American has fought over the past 150 years could have been avoided entirely or greatly limited in human and dollar cost had the Civil War not halted America's 'Manifest Destiny Doctrine' that would have created new States out of countries in this Hemisphere and on other continents that cried out for American leadership and protection.
