TOPIC: The Federal Census conducted every 10 years does not count the number of former military personnel. The absence of this counting which provokes awareness in societal needs and currents is reflected in the absence of former military personnel serving in all levels of government. This absence also accounts for the extraordinarily large number of persons who falsely claim military service.

Because of all of the above, along with so few former military veterans membering veterans organizations, there may now be a need for all veterans organizations to work together to conduct a nationwide, house-by-house census count of living American veterans to be performed by local veterans organizations. "If the government won't count us, we'll count ourselves!"
