Should the VA issue ID cards to ALL veterans?


TOPIC: Currently, the Department of Veterans Affairs limits issue of its federal ID card to certain veterans. However, if ALL veterans were in possession of a VA-issued ID card they could be recognized by government agencies and private companies for goods and services offered for the men and women who served in uniform to keep our country safe and free. QUESTION 1/8: Should the VA establish new policy that would permit all U.S. military veterans to obtain a VA-issued photo ID card upon completion of registration and military service verification?

Should veterans who possess a VA-issued ID card be exempted from paying federal gasoline tax at the pump, or other federally taxed expenses, in order to provide veterans more money to spend and stimulate our economy?
